A small but significant deal

It looks like Jason Kendall has been traded to the Chicago Cubs. As a career .298 hitting catcher with good speed, Kendall has been struggling with a .226 average this season. This may just be the change that he needs to get going. He is going to a place where they are winning, and he will be facing the weak NL Central pitching in a more hitter friendly park. And if he gets inserted into the 2nd spot in the lineup, look out.
For most owners, this is not big news, but if you have two catcher spots, this may be huge.
