Football Average Draft Position Report

Aug 18th, 2007 by winabango

After way too many hours spent on it, the Fantasy Football Average Draft Position and Scarcity Report is finally here and ready to help you with your Fantasy Football drafts. As I did with Baseball, I have accumulated data from over 15 drafts, both expert and regular, and compiled the stats into an Average Draft Position Spreadsheet. I also developed Scarcity Reports that break down each position into tiers based upon what average round the player is drafted in.. Those who downloaded the Baseball ADP and Scarcity reports found this information extremely useful when doing their drafts. Download it today, and win your league from the start of the season!

Fantasy Football Average Draft Position and Scarcity Report

All that I ask in return is that you tell everyone that you know (except your league mates) that this is available free of charge. Please post a link to the site on any message boards that you are a member of, or any other site that you think may find this information useful.

Thank you for your patience while I spent the last few weeks gathering everything, and as always, e-mail me with any questions.

I have used this in 2 Drafts and its amazing, one of my drafts is for money and my team is as follows:
    Matt Hasselbeck
    Chad Johnson
    Donald Driver
    Vincent Jackson
    Larry Johnson
    Reggie Bush
    Antonio Gates
    Mark Clayton
    Cedric Benson
    Philip Rivers
    L.J. Smith
    Muhsin Muhammad
    Jason Elam
    Jacksonville
    Minnesota

I start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF……who would you start and do you think my team is good kelly?

I have the fourth pick in a 12 team draft. Having to wait fro the 16th pick for my second player, I can’t take a chance on Larry Johnson. Who out of the remaining choices is the safest pick (the guy most likely to play every week and consistently produce rather than having explosive upside with questions)?

I think Frank Gore proved last year that he can produce consistently. If you want a safe back then you are probably looking at Willie Parker, Brian Westbrook, Rudi Johnson, and some guy named Shaun Alexander. Alexander is a top 3 pick that no one is taking. He should be a monster if the offensive line holds up.

Thanks for this resource. This is the 1st time I have seen it, and it was very useful. By far the most accurate tool I have used when drafting. I actually had a buddy look over my shoulder during the draft, and comment that it was right on, pick for pick. I will recommend this to everyone I can, except those in my league :-)

    Thanks again,
