Whew, I am back
Nov 18th, 2007 by winabango
I have just finished a large project at work that has caused craziness in my life and work schedule for the last 6 months. Now that the merger is complete, and my job is “officially” eliminated, I can start a new life. The acquiring company has hired me, and I begin working there tomorrow. I am very excited about this transition. I have spent 6 months working side by side with them, and they are the best group of IT professionals ever.
So what does this mean for Fantasy Gameday? It means that I have more time to spend on Fantasy Baseball! I have made every effort that I could (especially over the last month) to provide Fantasy Baseball content here on the site.
So what is next? I am glad you asked. Over the next months you can expect:
- 2008 Fantasy Baseball Mock draft - which is setup, and will begin on Friday November 23rd.
- 2008 Team reports - I will evaulaute each MLB team, and offer insight on player’s fantasy value
- 2008 Average Draft Position and Scarcity Report - the one and only ultimate draft resource will be back and better then ever.
- Pre-draft pitcher comparisons - I will evaluate a group of pitchers that seem to be getting drafted at the point, and try to discern which ones are the best selection.
- Many draft resources - items like 3-year weighted park factors, position rankings.
So, keep stopping by, and I promise it will be worth your time.
