…and a good time was had by all. Everyone else was clearly not watching the Oscars like I was so I’m sure they all feel better about their picks. I spent most of my analyzing time trying to figure out who was playing possum for the real deal here in a couple weeks. My feeling is that Kelly was trying to throw us off his scent…Todd Helton

Oh, one other thought. While it’s not my slot in the upcoming draft I would have been very very happy to come away with Santana and Braun there at #10 for the real thing. Especially considering I was torn between the two there with the first pick.

My draft strategy is to tell more stories about hot dogs and Jessica Alba. I think that will successfully distract everyone from taking the players I want (i.e. Bartolo Colon)
I loved the Matsusaka story the best.
That was a good draft. On just about every pick I was forced into plan B or C because my first option got snagged out from under my nose. IMO, that’s valuable practice.
I had to adjust twice during the draft. I think I did better with those adjustments in this draft then any other ones that I did.
