Pitch-and-Ditch round-up

Oct 7th, 2008 by winabango

Well… after Chuck and I recommended 62 pitchers over the last month of the season… the results are in.

After a solid start we struggled to find wins.  However, a solid final week brought our winning percentage up to an acceptable level. Overall, I am pleased with the K/9 rates and a good K/BB ratio.  Most experts say that a pitcher with a K/BB ratio above 2.00 is a solid choice.  I tend to lean towards a more stringent level of 2.50.  We did not get to that level, but we did post a respectable number.

I hope that our efforts help everyone out in your run to the title.
